Shawbrook snaps up Precise manager
In a surprising move, Shawbrook has snapped up one of Precise Mortgage's key members to lead its new networks division.
Loan Talk can confirm that Precise's National Account Manager, Claire Rankin, is to leave the lender for the role of Head of Networks in Shawbrook Bank's secured division.
The bank also recruited Paula Purdy to join its secured division, taking the role of Head of Sales.

With very ambitious plans for the future, their experience and drive will be integral in helping us further shape our broker proposition and retain our market leading position in the industry.”
At Precise, Claire focused her efforts on networks, providing training and support to the member base. Claire was appointed as a BDM at Precise in 2011 and has had past experience with Advantage Home Loans.
Claire Rankin now joins Shawbrook as Head of Networks, her focus will be to build upon Shawbrook’s relationships with key industry networks.
Paula brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as Senior Relationship Manager within Shawbrook’s Commercial division. She will be pivotal in expanding the bank's broker proposition in the north of Britain.
The duo join at a time when the market is undergoing rapid growth, as second charge mortgages increase in popularity, being recognised as an alternative to a remortgage by both brokers and their clients.
